Big Beach

PARKING:   Nice paved parking lots.

ACCESS:  Easy trail about 100 yards to the water and then head left. 

BEACH:  Very large and sandy.  Shady areas are available.

SWIMMING:   Be very careful of the shorebreak.  It can be very powerful here and cause serious injury as one's body is slammed into the sand.  There are lifeguards so ask them about the current conditions.

SURFING:  At the South end, there may be some waves a bit off shore.  Otherwise, bodyboarding here is best left to the "experts."
